6v red indicators come with one of
two different style retaining clips:
1) The star clip (not shown) must be slid over the wiring before the
indicator is installed.
2) The e-clip can be installed (or removed) at any time. Recommended
installation technique is shown at the right. The lamp must be firmly
pressed into position against outside the front panel before the clip is
installed. The clip must positioned against the inside of the chassis as
shown before it is slid into position. Tape can be used to avoid
scratching the inside of the chassis.
3) Important! Twist the two leads
around each other before installation, and use only the minimum length
necessary to reach a source of 6V. This will minimize audio
hum and interference. |
