Emerson and Scott VCR replacement rubber and Maintenance kits.

Your VCR may have the Scott logo in place of the Emerson logo. The on-line database has been setup to direct you to the proper rubber replacement kit for your VCR. Even though every precaution has been taken to assure the accuracy of the database, mistakes can be made. Common replacement parts for these Orion/Emerson VCRs

MBK-05:	Our MBK-05 kit contains both belts, the capstan/idler belt, and the load belt. Problems associated with bad belts range from will not initialize to eats tape. Bad belts can also cause lines in the picture or a no play situation. Your price for this kit is $2.95 See photo for location
MBK-05P:	Contains both belts, capstan/idler belt, and the load belt. This kit also contains a replacement pinch roller. If the pinch roller has never been replaced you probably need one. If the roller has a hard glaze on it or the capstan shaft has a black build up the pinch roller has probably been slipping This kit is a complete rubber replacement kit for these Orion/Emerson built VCRs. MBK-05-MNT:	Contains everything in our MBK-05P kit, all belts, and the pinch roller as well as the idler post limiter or post. The post is a common replacement item in these VCRs. The plastic around the little metal post will crack and the post will loosen and fall out. This will cause a no play situation. The idler post is pointed out in the chassis top view below.
