Goldstar, Hitachi, Craig, Emerson, JC Penney, Scott, Sears, Teknika, Totevision and Zenith VCR replacement parts kits.
Your VCR may have the Hitachi, Craig, Emerson, JC Penney, Scott, Sears, Teknika, Totevision, or Zenith name on it instead of Goldstar.   The on-line database has been setup to direct you to the proper replacement kit for your VCR.  Even though every precaution has been taken to assure the accuracy of the database, mistakes can be made.  If you have doubts about the pictured VCR being similar to yours please check the chassis photos below.  If you feel that we've made a mistake, please E-Mail us   and let us know.

We have two replacement rubber kits and several new common replacement parts for these Goldstar-manufactured VCRs.

MBK-11:
Contains the only belt used in these VCRs, built by Goldstar.   A slipping belt will cause problems such as no play, FF, or REW.   Early signs of a worn belt be noise, like tracking, in the picture, stops during play, or fails to REW/FF all the way to the end of tape.   Your price is $1.95.

MBK-11-I
Replacement idler assembly.   These VCRs use a fairly stable idler.   If the idler in your VCR has failed we do offer a new replacement idler.   Early signs of a slipping idler will be about the same as a bad belt.   If the belt is OK or been replaced you may need a new idler.   The old idler may warp causing the VCR to fail in play mode.   Your price is $12.95.

MBK-11-MSW
These Goldstar VCRs have a common problem with the mode switch failing.   When the mode switch fails it allows the loading motor to continue to run after it should have stopped.   This often damages the cam gear (below).  Your price for a new replacement mode switch is   $12.95.
