Hitachi, Burle, GE, JC Penney, Scott, Pentax, RCA, and Sears VCR replacement rubber kits. Your VCR may have the GE, JC Penney, Scott, Pentax, RCA, or Sears name on it instead of Hitachi. Your VCR is probably a front loading unit, instead of the top loader, pictured. The VCRs covered by our MBK-14 series of parts kits were built about the time that manufactures were just starting to build front loading VCRs. These VCRs are some old work horses and we try to stock enough parts so that you can keep them working properly. The on-line database has been set up to direct you to the proper rubber replacement kit for your VCR. Even though every precaution has been taken to assure the accuracy of the database, mistakes can be made. We have three replacement rubber kits for these VCRs, manufactured by Hitachi.

MBK-14: $8.50	Contains all six belts, Capstan belt, idler belt, counter belt, and both load belts. The load belts in these VCRs are probably the most common source of problems. As they get old and deteriorate they will begin to slip and the VCR will not fully load. The most common symptom being that you will hear the VCR attempt to power up but it will shut down before completing the power up sequence. Your price is $8.95. MBK-14T: $9.50	Contains all six belts, as well as the idler tire. The most common symptom of a bad idler tire is a no play situation. The VCR will accept a tape properly, load the tape around the video head then shut down after a few seconds. The early symptoms of a bad tire are jitter in the picture, have to constantly adjust tracking, and lines in the picture. Your price is $9.95. MBK-14PT: $16.95	Contains all belts, as well as a replacement idler tire and pinch roller. If your pinch roller is over four or five years old it probably needs replaced. An inspection of the pinch roller can help determine if it needs replaced. If it has a hard glaze on it or the capstan shaft has a black build up on it, the pinch roller has probably been slipping. MBK-14-I:	Replacement Idler Assembly. Sometimes the tire is the only part of the idler assembly that needs to be replace. Occasionally the idler assembly will lose tension and cause the idler to fail to engage the reels. Your price is $3.95 See photo for idler placement
VMK-100	This kit contains everything you need for routine maintenance of these Hitachi built VCRS. The kit includes all of the belts, the pinch roller, and the idler assy.
