We have two replacement rubber kits and several parts kits for these VCRs

MBK-17: Belt Kit	Contains the only belt used in these Hitachi VCRs. The most common symptom of a worn belt is the VCR will fail to load, or unload tape properly. VCR will fail to eject tape. Your price for our MBK-17 kit is $1.45. See photo for belt location
MBK-17P: Complete Rubber Kit	This kit contains the capstan/idler belt and the pinch roller. If the pinch roller has never been replaced your VCR probably needs one. MBK-17-PR: Pinch Roller	If the pinch roller has never been replaced your VCR probably needs one. If the roller has a hard glaze on it or the capstan shaft has a black build up the roller has probably been slipping. Your price for our MBK-17-PR is $6.95. MBK-17-I: Idler	The idler in these Hitachi units will warp and cause the VCR to eat tape. A visual inspection of the idler should be sufficient to determine if your VCR has an idler problem. Your price for our MBK-17-I is $7.90. See photo for Idler location
MBK-17-IGA: Gear Assembly	The Idler Gear Assembly in these Hitachi VCRs is a common source of problems. The most common symptom of a weak gear assembly is the VCR eating tape. MBK-17-MNT: Overhaul Kit	Our MBK-17-MNT kit solves the most common problems with these VCRs The kit includes both rubber parts, the belt and pinch roller. This kit also includes a new idler. MBK-17-CRK: Overhaul Kit	The cassette carriage has some problems in these VCRs. There is a rod that goes all the way across the bottom of the carriage, with an arm/lever on both ends of it and a gear on one end. Either or both of the levers may crack or the gear will break causing the carriage to fail to load cassettes. Our MBK-17-CRK kit takes care of all of these common problems.
