Akai VCR replacement parts kits.

The on-line database has been set up to direct you to the proper replacement kit for your VCR.  Even though every precaution has been taken to assure the accuracy of the database, mistakes can be made.  If you have doubts about the pictured VCR being similar to yours please check the chassis photos below.  If you feel that we've made a mistake, please E-Mail us   and let us know.


We have three replacement rubber kits for these Akai VCRs.


MBK-19:
Belt Kit
 Contains both belts that are used in these Akai VCRs.   The most common symptom of a worn belt is noise or tracking lines in the picture.  The VCR may eat tape or shutdown when attempting to play.

MBK-19T:
Complete Rubber Kit
 This kit contains both belts and the Idler Tire.  The idler tire is the only part of the idler assembly that normally needs to be replaced.
The most common symptom of a faulty idler tire is the VCR will fail to play, or have tracking lines that will not adjust out.  Your price for our MBK-19T kit is $3.95.

MBK-19PT:
Complete Rubber Kit
 This kit contains both belts, the Idler Tire and the pinch roller.  This kit is a complete rubber replacement kit for these Akai VCRs.
If the pinch roller has never been changed you probably need one. If the pinch roller has a hard glaze on it or the capstan shaft has a black buildup the pinch roller has probably been slipping.  Your price for our MBK-19PT kit is $9.95.
