MBK-61: Belt Kit Contains all three belts that are used in these VCRs.   The most common symptom of a bad belt is the VCR will fail to accept or eject a tape.   You may hear a motor running as the VCR tries to load or unload the cassette.  The VCR may also power up then shut down after a few seconds.   Your price for our MBK-61 kit is $4.50. MBK-61T: Rubber Kit This kit contains all three belts and the idler tire.   The tire is the only part of the idler assembly that normally needs to be replaced.   The most common symptom of a bad tire is the VCR will shut down when trying to go into play mode.  The VCR may also eat tape, spill tape into the VCR, or there may be lines in the picture that will not track out.   Your price for our MBK-61T kit is $5.50. MBK-61PT: Complete Rubber Kit This kit is a  rubber replacement kit for these Panasonic built VCRs.   It contains all three belts, the idler tire, and the pinch roller.   If the pinch roller has never been replaced you really need one.   If the pinch roller has a hard glaze on it or the capstan shaft has a black build up on it the pinch roller has probably been slipping.   Your price for our MBK-61PT kit is $12.50. MBK-61-I: Idler Assembly The tire is the only part of the idler assembly that normally needs to be replaced.  The idler assembly does eventually wear out and cause problems.   Common symptoms are about the same as a bad tire lines that wont track out, audio warble, speed changes.  Your price for our MBK-61-I is $5.95.
