The TM1 will also replace the CL1110M
module in the GU12 and AC12 amps.
NOTE; Ampeg used
basically the same units from 1963-1980. You will see these as a box or
a tube, 4, 5 or 6 wire versions, PC board mount or hardwired. These new
replacement units have been made to allow for use in all circumstances.
Depending on the amp and how this unit is mounted the
new TM1 may exhibit a ticking noise. Adjusting the location and/or adding electrical shielding
may help.
You may also experience variation in the speed and depth of the
tremolo. Trying different values of resistors in the circuit may
also help with this.
For best results it is also recommended replacing the
caps in and around the Vibrato circuit (not included).

10 OHM, 5A NTC (Negative
Temperature Coefficient) type Thermistor.
Fender part number 028503. Used in many Fender amp models
since the 1990s. Also used in some Mesa Boogie amps. It is installed in series in a circuit
between the transformer and incoming AC power. This thermistor is rated for
5A maximum current, and is 19mm in diameter. By limiting
inrush current, it protects the transformer and other components in the power
supply at turn-on. This thermistor should only be used on amps which
have a 5 amp fuse or less.
