Replacement output transformer for most Blackface and Silverface Fender amps with 40 watt or 50 watt power. Replaces Fender part numbers 125A9A*, 018343, 022855, 002871, 0036485000, 0036968000, 0041754000, 0064420000, and 0073304000.   Used in vintage Bassman ('59 Tweed, Blonde, Blackface, Silverface).  Used in Concert II.  May be used to upgrade vintage Bandmaster Reverb*, Pro Reverb*, Super Reverb* or Vibrolux Reverb* models (*drilling new chassis holes required!)  Fits Hot Rod Deville, Blues Deville (all versions).   Fits Reissue Models: '65 Super Reverb, '68 Custom Super Reverb, '63 Vibroverb, '64 Custom Vibroverb, '68 Custom Vibrolux, Eric Clapton Twinolux. Transformer made in Chicago, Illinois, USA by Magnetic Components.

Important:   Not for Ultralinear Silverface Models with 70 Watt output!   Ultralinear types are Bandmaster Reverb, Pro Reverb and Super Reverb models from 1976-1981.   These models are easily identified by the 70W RMS labelling by the speaker jack, and they all had a Master Volume with pull switch.

*Note:  Some vintage Fender models listed above may have smaller transformers with only 2 mounting holes.   This transformer is an upgrade for those, but DOES require that 4 new 3/16" holes be drilled into the chassis in order to mount this transformer.

Replaces Fender part numbers 125A29A, 022889.   Used in vintage Fender Twin, Twin Reverb, Dual Showman, Dual Showman Reverb, Super 6 Reverb, Showman, Quad Reverb, PA-100, and Bassman 100 models made before 1976. 

Important:   Not for Ultralinear Silverface Models with 135 Watt output!   Ultralinear types are the Twin Reverb, Bassman 135 and PA135 models from 1976-1981.   These models are easily identified by the 135W RMS labelling by the speaker jack, and they all had a Master Volume with pull switch.

Fits all versions of the Blues Junior, and fixes the shortcomings of the original output transformer   Flaws like woofy, flabby or farty tone are a thing of the past. Overdrive tones are sweeter, harmonics are richer. Frequency response extends well past the range of hearing, so nothing is left behind.

Output transformers seldom make an amp louder; they’re mostly about tone quality. But they do improve headroom by reducing distortion.
